प्रस्तुत पुस्तक Entrance Manual for Grade VI  (नवौँ संस्करण) विगत १२ वर्ष देखि अविच्छिन्न रुपमा प्रकाशित हुदै आइरहेको पुस्तक हो । कक्षा ५ उत्तीर्ण गरी देशका प्रतिष्ठित शिक्षण संस्थाहरूमा कक्षा ६ मा प्रवेश गरी अध्ययन गर्ने विद्यार्थीहरूको प्रवेश परीक्षा तयारीका लागि यो पुस्तक तयार पारिएको हो । सबै अभिभावकलाई आफ्ना बालबालिकालाई प्रतिष्ठित शिक्षण संस्थामा अध्ययन गराऔँ भन्ने प्रबल इच्छा हुन्छ । तर त्यस्ता शैक्षिक संस्थाहरूमा भर्ना लिने सङ्ख्या सीमित हुन्छ जसका कारण प्रतिस्पर्धामा अब्बल ठहरिने विद्यार्थीहरूले मात्र स्थान पाउन सक्दछन् ।

कलिला बालबालिकाहरूलाई परीक्षा तयारी कक्षामा सहभागी गराउनु व्यावहारिक रूपमा जटिल कार्य हो । परीक्षा तयारीका लागि कक्षा नै लिनु नपरोस् भन्ने उद्देश्यले यो पुस्तक तयार पारिएको हो । आधुनिक सिकाइ शैली एवं प्रतिष्ठित विद्यालयहरूमा सोधिने गरेका वा सोधिन सक्ने प्रश्नपत्रहरूका प्रशस्त नमुना समावेश गरी सरल तथा बोधगम्य शैलीमा यो पुस्तक तयार पारिएको छ, जसका माध्यमले बाबुनानीहरू घरमै बसी परीक्षा तयारी गर्न सक्छन् ।

प्रस्तुत पुस्तक प्रवेश परीक्षाका लागि मात्र नभएर माथिल्लो तहमा अध्ययन गर्ने विद्यार्थीका लागि सन्दर्भसामग्रीका रूपमा समेत प्रयोग हुन सक्छ किनकि राम्रो अध्ययनका लागि आधारभूत ज्ञान अत्यावश्यक हुन्छ । यस पुस्तकले आवश्यक आधारभूत ज्ञानमा विद्यार्थीलाई सक्षम बनाउन समेत सहयोग गर्दछ ।
